In 2013, Fede Alvarez brought a new version of ‘Evil Dead’ to the big screen. Alvarez used Sam Raimi’s groundbreaking franchise as inspiration but directed a far more serious movie and turned up the gore factor.

In a recent interview, Fede Alvarez said that he would like to make a sequel to his take on the ‘Evil Dead’ world. He actually said that the individuals involved ‘always chat about it’.

It will no doubt be music to fans ears that Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi would have some involvement.

“We will just make them if we believe there’s a story that has to be told, and is awesome, and is great, and we believe that it will be better than anything that will be done before in that world. We find that story, when we all agree on what it is, it will probably happen.’

Sam Raimi is the mastermind behind the original trilogy, Campbell, the charismatic Ash Williams. It is great to see that the cinema minds behind the original will continue to be custodians of its future.
