It was announced on Friday that Anthony Joshua had re-signed with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing. Joshua has boxed under the Matchroom banner since the beginning of his pro career in 2013. He has extended his contract for a further three years.

It is no secret that the unified champion has been offered a lot of money to jump ship. Although he refutes claims of a 350 million dollar offer, back in March Dana White was interested in signing Joshua to Zuffa Boxing.

Joshua would have been a massive acquistion for White’s venture into the boxing world. No doubt there have been many more attempts to snag the biggest fish in the heavyweight pond.

However, Joshua’s working relationship with Hearn remains strong. Their partnership will continue to the future unification with Deontay Wilder and beyond.
