Rising star Joe Joyce has signed with American boxing promoter/manager, Al Haymon. Prior to the signing, Joyce was a member of David Haye’s Hayemaker Boxing Promotions.

We have seen most British stars join Eddie Hearn’s ever-growing Matchroom stable. Hearn seems to have the most clout of any promoter at the moment, recruiting the biggest names and booking the most exciting match-ups.

Under the tutelage of Eddie Hearn, Anthony Joshua joined the pro ranks after winning gold in the 2012 Olympics. Hearn nurtured Joshua’s abilities leading him to world championships and international acclaim.

Fellow medalist Joyce looks set for a similarly meteoric rise. He recently captured the commonwealth belt after just five fights in the professional ranks. However, it seems Joyce will carry out his campaign for international stardom back to front.

Haymon is an influential figure of boxing in America, he had a hand in the career of Floyd Mayweather. Although Joyce needs some guidance when it comes to selling fights, he is incredibly exciting in the ring.

If anyone can help Joyce on the microphone and make him more marketable, it is Al Haymon. Big things are in the future of Joe Joyce.
