Tai Tuivasa and Tyson Pedro are fairly new to the big leagues. Pedro made his debut against Khalil Rountree in November 2016, Tuivasa first entered the UFC octagon in 2017.

Both men have made a big impression in a small space of time; their screen presence is undeniable. In this entertainment era of MMA, the UFC are clearly high on these two talents. The promotion want to build stars with marketability and it looks like they are about to get their big push.

On Wednesday, Tai Tuivasa called-out Junior Dos Santos on Twitter. There was no response from JDS but Tuivasa suggested that he had also been offered the fight by the UFC.

Pedro and Tuivasa are both managed by Australian manager, Zen Ginnen of Ginnen Group. The promoter confirmed that an offer had been sent to JDS and revealed that Tyson Pedro vs ‘Shogun’ Rua could also be in the pipeline.

Even facing these opponents would be huge for Pedro and Tuivasa’s careers. Rua and Dos Santos are both former titilists of their respective divisions, this would speed up their ascent of the rankings. Especially because Tuivasa beat Andrei Arlovski in his last outing, a former champion and legend in his own right.

Tuivasa and Pedro have everything it takes to make it big, skills and personality. Their charisma is obvious in their July interview with Brendan Schaub. It would be great to see Pedro and Tuivasa get these big opportunities.
