Mickey Gall appeared on the ESPN MMA live show yesterday (Monday). Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Gall revealed that he would like to face Diego Sanchez next.

Over the weekend, Gall added yet another submission to his record when he finished George Sullivan in round one. Gall was being pushed by the UFC but lost some momentum in 2017 when he lost to Randy Brown. The decision defeat was addmitedly due to ill-health. However, Gall course-corrected at UFC Lincoln.

The rising star looks to continue his ascent with a spot on the UFC 230 bill. What better way to attain stardom than a bout at Madison Square Garden, the combat sports Mecca.

The UFC will be looking for a big name fight for the November 3rd card. A planned middleweight clash between Yoel Romero and Paulo Costa has recently been nixed.

Diego Sanchez is a legend of the fight game. Win, lose or draw; sharing the octagon with him would be a great boon for Gall’s career.
