Eddie Hearn has revealed to Sky Sports that a huge heavyweight rematch is in the works. Dillian Whyte is in talks for a rematch with Dereck Chisora.

The first meeting was filled with fireworks from the build-up, to the final bell. Dillian Whyte is, to many, the unheralded top contender. To bolster his claim, he has just beaten Joseph Parker, a former world champion.

Hearn has claimed that Whyte will get the title shot when Joshua returns to Wembley in April; provided he can’t book the undisputed title clash for then.
However, Whyte is eager to stay active and get back in the ring. WBA regular champion, Manuel Charr is a possibility but Jarrell Miller is targeting him. WBC number one contender, Dominic Breazeale, is also an option and possibly the best tactically.

Eddie Hearn notes that the most likely scenario is a rematch with Chisora in December. This comes off the back of an Instagram post from Whyte revealing that he is in training for a December return.

Regardless of who he faces, Whyte will certainly put on a show for the fans. Exciting times for boxing fans.
