Frank Warren’s Queensbury Boxing has announced that Carl Frampton versus Josh Warrington is set. WBO interim titlist Frampton will challenge Warrington for the IBF featherweight title.

As expected the fight will take place at Manchester Arena on December 22nd. The announcement means Manchester gains another anticipated title fight for year’s end.

On Friday, Matchroom Boxing announced the monumental undisputed cruiserweight title clash between Tony Bellew and Oleksandr Usyk. A huge rematch between heavyweight rivals, Dereck Chisora and Dillian Whyte is also tapped for December.

Bob Arum’s Top Rank promote WBO world champion, Carlos Valdes. The champion is set to return from injury later this year and Arum has expressed an interest in working with Warren on a title unification with the winner of this fight.
