Vasyl Lomachenko and Jose Pedraza have finalised their title unification this week, per reports. According to Ring Magazine, WBA lightweight champion Lomachenko will face WBO titlist Pedraza on December 8th.

The 135 pound belts will be contested in Madison Square Garden, boxing hallowed ground.

Pedraza is coming into this bout with only one loss in 26 fights. The lone blemish on his record was an unsuccessful super featherweight title defence against Gervonta Davis.

Vasyl Lomachenko holds world titles in three weight classes as well as the pound-for-pound number one spot. He has achieved all of this in just twelve pro fights.

Lomachenko is a once in a lifetime athlete and Pedraza is a two weight champion who has faced some of the world’s best boxers. This is a seriously high level fight.
