BRITISH MMA prospect Brendan Lougnane impressed hardcore fans with a dominant performance on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.

Loughnane cruised to a unanimous decision over Bill Algeo but drew the ire of UFC boss, Dana White for shooting a late takedown in the closing seconds of the final round.

White refused the Manchester native a contract in the UFC but it seems the talent is still destined for big things in MMA.

Manager, Malki Kawa has confirmed that Pro Fight League have inked an exclusive contract with Loughnane, with a debut set for an out of season show in October.

Fighting out of Manchester Predators, Loughnane is widely believed to be one of the best talents hailing from UK shores. And he will get to showcase his ability in the season 3 featherweight tourney against the likes of Lance Palmer, Alex Gilpin and Movlid Khaybulaev.

PFL could be the most logic step for Loughnane as it puts no stock in trash talk or reckless fighting. Fighters reach the moutaintop, and a £1 million prize pot, simply by staying in the win column.
