ANOTHER UFC title fight is in the works for the already stacked UFC 245 as the anticipated grudge match between welterweight world champion Kamaru Usman and controversial contender, Colby Covington is in the works.

Ace reporter Ariel Helwani has revealed that the bout is under negotiations on the latest episode of The MMA Reporters Podcast.

There is plenty of needle to Covington vs Usman, the two had to be kept apart at the UFC on ESPN 5 post show.

Covington headlined the card, overwhelming Robbie Lawler with relentless pressure and volume of strikes. He won the interim title at UFC 225 in a similarly grinding performance against Rafael dos Anjos.

However, Covington was sidelined due to a sinus issue and was subsequently stripped to make way for Darren Till versus then champion, Tyron Woodley.

Usman later took the title from Woodley in a dominant victory at UFC 235.

Usman’s defence of his 170 pound title would take place at the T-Mobile Arena on December 14.

The card also features Max Holloway defending the featherweight strap against Alexander Volkanovski (20-1) and female great Amanda Nunes defends her bantamweight title against Germaine de Randamie.
