FORMER WBC interim heavyweight champion Dillian Whyte is set to return from a doping suspension on the undercard of Anthony Joshua vs Andy Ruiz Jr 2.

As previously reported, Dillian Whyte’s first fight back after serving a disputed and oveturned anti-doping suspension will be on the blockbuster Saudi Arabia event.

Whyte was suspended due to an adverse which his team has fought to overturn, the finding came from a doping test taken prior to his successful WBC interim title bid versus Oscar Rivas. The bout took place in July.

Whyte’s return will see him face heavyweight gatekeeper Marius Wach on the undercard of his former foe – Anthony Joshua who bids to take back his world titles from Andy Ruiz.

The Clash on the Dunes card on December 7 also features Michael Hunter versus the always dangerous Alexander Povetkin and Filip Hrgovic vs Eric Molina.
